How to Outline Your Fonts

To outline your fonts in Adobe Illustrator or InDesign, follow these steps:

1. Use the black arrow tool (default selection tool) to highlight all the text you want to outline.
2. Go to the top menu and select Type > Create Outlines.
3. Your text will instantly be converted into vector shapes. It may temporarily appear bolder and highlighted in blue.
4. Click anywhere on the blank area of your artboard (outside the design) to deselect the text, and it will return to its normal appearance.

By outlining your fonts, you ensure your text remains intact and accurate, even if we don’t have access to the fonts you used.
